Ironing Instructions for Patches
Follow these steps for a secure, long‑lasting bond — fast, easy, and fabric‑safe.
Materials
- ✔ Iron
- ✔ Thin cloth or baking paper
- ✔ Solid, heat‑resistant surface (ironing board)
- ✔ Water (only if your iron requires it — steam OFF)
Preparation
1) Preheat: Set the iron to the highest safe temperature for your garment. Turn steam off.
2) Lay flat: Place the garment on a stable, heat‑resistant surface. Smooth out wrinkles.
Step‑by‑Step Instructions
Position
Place the patch exactly where you want it. Check alignment before heating.
Protect
Cover with a thin cloth or baking paper to avoid shine and overheating.
Press
Press firmly for 15–30s with dry heat. Don’t slide the iron — keep it still.
Seal Edges
Lift and repeat on all areas, especially corners and edges, for even adhesion.
Cool
Let cool completely. Check bond; if needed, repeat pressing for 10–15s.
Pro Tip
Turn the garment inside out and press from the backside (with cloth) for extra hold.
Do & Don’t

- ✘ Don’t rush the cool‑down
- ✘ Don’t use on heat‑sensitive nylon
- ✘ Don’t wash within 24h
Care After Application
Wait 24h before washing to let the adhesive cure.

If an edge lifts over time, re‑cover with cloth and press again for 10–15s.
